I am currently the manager and web developer for a large eBay Motors store based in Ronkonkoma, NY, and have been offering my professional web services for over 10 years. My interest in web development began at 13, when I learned HTML to help my grandmother create a geneology website; since then I've enjoyed creating digital art, learning new programming and design languages and adapting graphics to the web in the service of promoting messages and offering products for sale.My primary hobbies include producing art, playing the ukulele, enjoying games and reading. I also enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my fierce but sweet rescue dog, Lucy.
Education is very important to me, and I believe in acquiring a varied education, both formal and informal. In 2007 I earned my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Stony Brook University, and there took a special interest in primate evolution and conservation science, participating in the amazing Madagascar Study Abroad Program in 2005. Since then, I've also taken courses in Art, Calculus, Chemistry and Physics, including a full year at SUNY Geneseo. I am a member of the International Webmaster's Association and take professional development courses via the associated eClasses.org.
